If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s to always wear a smile on your face.
Some may think that it’s fake, but I think that smiling is a God’s best gift for us.
Even when your heart is breaking, you should smile.
And some may think that it's bad to hide your feelings,
but I think that pain should only be felt for a short amount of time.
Happiness should outnumber it every day, every way.

For four years,
I took a path outside my home to and back from my school.
When night falls,
the streetlamps that flank alternately on either side of the path
will flicker to life,
illuminating everything around them, including the path.
Whenever I came home late and walked this path alone,
the streetlamps never fail to shine my way through,
as if the light would bring comfort to me.

Looking back at those times,
I realised that there are "streetlamps" in our lives that we are not aware of,
emanating light to guide us through the dark moments of our lives.
And in doing so, we have to treasure these "streetlamps"
before their lights run out and the regret that follows...

On a lighter note,
it is the start of March holidays,
but I guess it will not make a difference to me.
