Wednesday, June 30 | Back to the top|  When I was very very young, my teachers would reward students with character badges for their good attitude. I do not know what types and how many different badges there were, but I remember vividly that among all the badges the teachers had given out, there was one of an eagle with its wings spread out wide in flight, with the word "DETERMINATION" below it. I wanted it badly; whenever I saw my classmates receiving that badge from a teacher, I would watch with a twinge of... perhaps envy? I could not remember that feeling but I remember myself strengthening my resolve, keeping my focus on doing something, yet failing to do so in the end. Many many years since then, looking at how procrastination has made me regret not doing things earlier, again and again, I guess I ought to be glad that I was not given that badge. However, if my current teachers were to distribute these badges out to students with good conduct, I will definitely work on my resolve to get that badge. Time flies...
